How to get help with Verdie.
Contact us
Email support@verdie.ca and we'll get back to you within two business days.
If you're reporting a bug or a plant that didn't identify correctly, please include your device model, iOS version, a short description of what happened, and — if it helps — the photo you were trying to identify.
Common questions
How do I cancel my Verdie Pro subscription?
Verdie Pro is billed through Apple, so cancellations happen in your device's Settings, not inside the app. On iOS: open Settings → tap your name at the top → Subscriptions → Verdie → Cancel Subscription. Apple has a walkthrough here: View, change or cancel your subscriptions.
Your Pro features stay active until the end of the billing period you already paid for.
How do I get a refund?
Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple, not by Verdie — we don't have the ability to process them on our end. You can request a refund from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. If Apple asks for context or you have questions about what to write, email us at support@verdie.ca and we'll help.
I bought Pro on my old phone. How do I get it back on a new one?
Sign in to Verdie with the same Apple ID you used to purchase Pro, open Settings inside the app, and tap Restore purchases. Your Pro entitlement will re-attach within a few seconds.
How do I delete my account?
Inside the app, open Settings → Profile → Delete account, then confirm. Your account and the data attached to it are removed on our side. If you're signed out and can't sign back in, email support@verdie.ca from the address on the account and we'll delete it for you.
What data does Verdie collect, and how is it used?
The full details are in our Privacy Policy. The short version: photos you upload are used to identify plants and assess plant health; your garden location is used to figure out your climate, frost dates, and planting calendar; and your care logs are yours to keep, edit, or delete.
Notifications aren't showing up.
Check that notifications for Verdie are enabled in Settings → Notifications → Verdie on your device. Inside the app, open Settings and confirm the reminder types you want are on and that your quiet hours aren't muting them. If everything looks right but nothing's arriving, email us and we'll help track it down.
The app crashed.
Sorry about that. Reopen Verdie — if the crash was a one-off, it should come back up fine. If it happens again, email support@verdie.ca with your device model and iOS version, and a rough description of what you were doing when it crashed. We get automatic crash reports too, so context on what you were trying to do is the most useful thing you can send.
I have a feature request.
We'd love to hear it — email support@verdie.ca. Verdie is built by a small team, and what users are asking for genuinely shapes what we work on next.
